Man dies in ATV accident

MONROE COUNTY, Ind. - An Owen County man died over the weekend in an ATV accident in Monroe County, DNR officials said.
Daniel Cutshaw, 27, Spencer, was driving up a steep hill on private property off of Reeves Road when his Honda 4-Trax 250 rolled back on him at about 4 p.m. Sunday. A passenger riding the ATV was able to jump clear and escape injury, but Cutshaw was pinned underneath the ATV, DNR officials said.
Both were wearing helmets, but Cutshaw sustained fatal head injuries despite the protective gear, according to a DNR news release. He was pronounced dead at the scene
