Man loses control of bike, slams into log

BROWN CO., Ind. (WISH) - A Kentucky man was injured on Sunday while riding his mountain bike on the trails at Brown County State Park.

According to Indiana Conservation Officers, Alan Keeling, 48, of Crestwood, Ken., lost control of his mountain bike was thrown from it, and slammed face first into a log.

Keeling was wearing a helmet, but hit the log on the lower part of his head.

Officers say he suffered face and skull fractures and was transported to Methodist by a medical helicopter.
