Martinsville prays for Conn. school

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Martinsville schools released a statement on Friday following a gruesome school shooting in Connecticut.

One student was shot at Martinsville West Middle School in March 2011 , and he survived. Another teenager was the accused gunman.

Dozens of people were shot at the elementary school in Connecticut Friday. Click here for the latest.

"Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and children in this tragedy." said Ron Furniss, superintendent of Martinsville Schools.
