MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - After one Martinsville coach was arrested and retired early, another Martinsville teacher is under investigation.
The superintendent for Martinsville schools says a second grade teacher is on paid administrative leave due to an alleged act of misconduct.
School officials say the teacher’s suspension is connected to an ongoing police investigation. The teacher hasn’t been arrested, according to Indiana State Police, so 24-Hour News 8 isn’t identifying the educator.
Timothy Wolf, 65, was arrested in February on a public indecency charge after police say they found him in a car not fully clothed with a 17-year-old girl in the passenger seat. Wolf retired early.
School officials didn’t say whether Wolf’s case was in any way connected to this other teacher.
