FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - Officials say an occupied home in Franklin, Ind. may be ordered to be razed.
The City of Franklin has deemed a home as unsafe, our partners at the Daily Journal report.
The city has ordered a landlord to make repairs to the home in the 300 block of Kentucky Street. If repairs are not made, the city says they will tear the home down.
Officials say this is a rare move, as people still live in the four apartments in the building. If the home is razed, they would need to find another place to live.
A code enforcement officer says the home has leaky ceilings, mold, and no working heat.
