NINEVEH, Ind. (Daily Journal) - Police have arrested a man after a Johnson County resident reported a burglary in which rifles were taken from his gun safe, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Daily Journal reports.
The resident, in the 800 block of Drybread Lane in Nineveh, reported the burglary on Wednesday. In addition to his rifles, his Xbox 360 video game system was also taken.
Officers received a tip that 24-year-old Roger Wayne Fowler, 24, had the items and sold the video game system for drugs.
Fowler was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and possession of a controlled substance. Police said he had suboxone strips in his pocket when they found him.
