GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - A Greenwood police officer who was disciplined for an incident while he was off duty has resigned from the department.
Officer Nick Dine resigned Monday for personal reasons, according to Greenwood Police Chief John Laut.
In April 2011 a police merit board suspended Dine without pay for 30 days and ordered him to abstain from drinking and attend Alcohols Anonymous meetings. The disciplinary action came after an incident outside an Applebee’s restaurant on State Road 135 .
