Search continues for missing IU student

Last seen walking toward her apartment

Bloomington police are looking for 20-year-old Lauren Spierer after she went missing around 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Spierer was last seen walking from 11th Street toward her apartment building at 8th and College Avenue.

Police and canines have made several searches of the area. Police have spoken to businesses, workers and residents in the area. Now flyers are being distributed.

Spierer is described as a white woman, with longer than shoulder length blonde hair, blute eyes, slender build, four-feet eleven-inches tall. She was last seen barefoot, wearing a white tank top with a loose light colored button shirt over it, and black full length stretch pants.
