GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - Doors for special offers won't open until midnight Thursday, but dozens of people have already picked their spot to be one of the first to shop when the doors open.

Krista Garcia will be the first person inside the Best Buy in Greenwood when the store opens.

At 6 p.m. Wednesday she and several of her friends brought out lawn chairs and claimed their spot for the Best Buy deal.

Krista says this is nothing new for her.

She missed Thanksgiving last year to do the same thing. But in 2011 she wasn't first in line and almost missed out on the good bargain.

Tony Crouch says missing a Thanksgiving meal will be hard, but he's hoping he’ll be able to switch spots with his son during the more than 24 hours he plans to wait to get a deal, leave and get dinner.

Crouch says he wants an LCD flat screen at half the price.

Shoppers say there is a special coupon you can only get by being the first in line.
