Spierers hope ring photo helps crack case

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) - The parents of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer hope a picture of a ring their daughter wore might help make movement in the case.
The Spierers released the picture on Tuesday, saying it was similar to one their daughter would have been wearing the night she went missing. It was a gift for her 20th birthday.
Lauren Spierer, now 21, disappeared after a night out with friends in Bloomington on June 3, 2011.
The case remains under investigation.
