NASHVILLE, Ind. (Brown County Democrat) - Brown County High School students were searched Thursday after finding “Boom 4-5-2012” sprayed in a bathroom, 24-Hour News 8 news partner the Brown County Democrat reports.
On Wednesday students notified high school staff and letters were sent home explaining the situation to parents.
Brown County Schools Superintendent David Shaffer says he didn’t deem the threat to be credible and didn’t want to give the students responsible any attention. Schaffer acknowledges that school security has to be taken seriously in 2012.
Three similar incidents happened in 2011; two graffiti threats were found in boys’ bathrooms and one was found at the local junior high.
