BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (AP) - A southwestern Indiana school district remains on lockdown even after the arrest of a juvenile who prompted security concerns.

The Greene County Daily World and The Herald-Times of Bloomington report the Bloomfield School District reduced a lockdown originally scheduled to last all week to Monday. Superintendent Dan Sichting says the district wants to guard against potential "copycat" issues.

Sichting says Bloomfield Junior-Senior High School Principal David Dean confronted the juvenile attempting to enter the school Thursday, and the youth later approached a teacher claiming to be a police officer looking for a female student.

Police were present during Friday's dismissal at the school about 25 miles west of Bloomington. Sichting says the youth was arrested Friday night on a Clay County warrant alleging he sexually assaulted someone.
