GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) - Police are looking for three women they say have forged checks taken from a woman’s purse in Greenwood.
On April 14, a woman told Greenwood Police her car was broken into in the Olive Garden parking lot. Thieves took her Gucci purse and a Toshiba laptop computer.
Police say three women have used checks taken in the theft to purchase hundreds of dollars of merchandise at a Westfield Walmart. Surveillance video captured images of the suspected women.
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. Information that leads to a felony arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
