19-year-old arrested on allegations of child molestation

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A 19-year-old Putnam County man has been arrested on allegations of child molestation.
Zachary Lee Bennassi of Fillmore, Ind., was taken into custody by Indiana State Police detectives from the Putnamville Post on Monday around 2:30 a.m. in Greencastle, Ind.
He is accused of child molestation involving a 13-year-old female acquaintance from Brazil, Ind., according to police.
The investigation began on May 11, 2012, when Indiana State Police detectives were made aware of the allegations by the Brazil Police Department.
The investigation, information, and evidence led investigators to believe that on April 23, 2012, Bennassi coerced the young female into sexual relations at Forrest Park in Brazil.
