Threat puts Montgomery County courthouse on high alert

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - A threat left on a voicemail prompted heightened security at the Montgomery County Courthouse on Tuesday, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Paper reports .

Montgomery County Sheriff Mark Casteel told the newspaper at about midday that a suspect had been detained.

Extra officers were patrolling the hallways and a deputy was posted outside the courtroom of Judge David Ault, on whose voicemail the threat was left.

Casteel declined to give further details about the threat.
