Avon teacher receives grant

AVON, Ind. (WISH) - A fourth-grade teacher at Kingsway Christian School was given a $500 grant.
Bright House Networks gave Monique Martin the classroom innovator grant to purchase a 32GB iPad.
A release said the iPad will allow students to connect with pen pals in the Bahamas.
The grants are available for educators who want to create innovative learning experiences.
