Burn ban lifted in Wayne County

RICHMOND, IN.(WISH) - The Ban on Open Burning has been lifted for all Wayne County fire protection Areas.

Fire Chiefs urge continued caution with all fires and follow state/local burning rules.

The Fire Chiefs of Richmond and Wayne County put the ban in place on June 20th due to excessively dry conditions that posed a risk for fire.
