CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WLFI) - Employees at the courthouse in Crawfordsville were evacuated around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday due to a possible gas leak.
Emergency officials were called to the scene to investigate the source of a strong odor. There were no immediate reports of injuries. Employees were allowed back in the building shortly after 9:00 a.m.
The Crawfordsville Fire Department said the odor possibly originated from a work site at a natural gas station in the area
