Fire destroys house, damages others

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - An early morning fire destroyed one home and damaged two others in Plainfield on Thursday.

The blaze was reported just after 3:30 a.m. Thursday in the Bentwood Subdivision, northeast of Ronald Regan Parkway and U.S. 40.

The residents of the destroyed home were out of town at the time. No injuries were reported.

The houses on both sides were damaged by the heat, Plainfield Fire Department said.
