PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - Detectives in Plainfield are looking for a man wanted in a number of crimes. Police said they're not sure if 37-year-old Jason Currens is armed, however, they said he could still be in Plainfield.

The most recent robbery happened Tuesday night at the Circle S on Main Street in Plainfield. Police say Currens walked inside with a hammer and stole a pair lottery tickets.

"Clothing description and different logistics match, as well as height and weight. So he's wanted for questioning in that case." Lt. Jill Lees with Plainfield Police said.

Police said Currens is about 5' 8", 185 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes. The last time anyone saw him he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants.

"He has several tattoos, quite a few on his arms and torso," Lees described.

Currens is also accused of robbing his girlfriend's mother.

In this case, police said Currens got away with several credit cards and about $200.

Ariel Moore is a family member of the victim. She said she never trusted Currens. She said it doesn't surprise her that he's accused in the robberies.

Plainfield Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 317-838-3565.
