Indiana Guardsman killed in Afghanistan

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indiana National Guardsman hurt in an attack Monday in Afghanistan has died, state officials said.

Spc. Arronn D. Fields, 27, Knightsville, was on mounted patrol in Qal-ah-ye Mirza Jal, Afghanistan, when he was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade attack Monday.

Fields was deployed in January with the 381st Military Police Company, 81st Troop Command. He enlisted in 2006 and was a graduate of Northview High School in Brazil
