Pedestrian struck on I-74

HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Dispatch says a pedestrian was struck at the side of the road shortly after noon Thursday, along Interstate 74.

The area is near Ronald Regan Parkway.

Officials say she was in the process of putting gas into her vehicle when she was struck by  another passing vehicle.

The victim was reported to be conscious and breathing and was rushed by ambulance to St. Vincent Hospital.
