PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) - An Army pilot returning from Afghanistan surprised his family Sunday night when he dressed up like a Red Robin employee and approached their table.
A Red Robin restaurant, located at 365 South Perry Road in Plainfield, received a call that a pilot was returning home and his family had no idea.
Army Black Hawk Pilot Kyle Braun had been serving in Afghanistan and just recently learning he’d be able to come home for the holidays.
He has not been home in over a year.
The family was meeting at the Red Robin for dinner shortly after 6 p.m. Braun dressed like an employee of the restaurant, approached the table and surprised them.
