PLAINFIELD, Ind. (Flyer Group) - A staff member at Plainfield Community Middle School notified administrators Friday of threatening writing found on a bathroom stall wall, 24-Hour News 8’s news partner The Hendricks County Flyer reports.
The writing alluded to a bomb threat for Thursday, Sept. 20.
Administrators have been in contact with the Plainfield Police Department and are investigating to determine the identity of the person who wrote the threat.
The act is a criminal felony. When the person responsible is identified, the school says they intend to prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.
The school says they do not believe students are in any immediate danger, but they do take all threats seriously.
As a precautionary measure, additional measures will be put in place next week.
