CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Strong wind blew a tin roof off a building in downtown Crawfordsville Monday afternoon.
Crawfordsville police officers and firefighters were called to the Merle Norman Building around 5:30 p.m.
Officials say firefighters worked to secure the roof before it was ultimately torn off. Police closed the 100 block of South Walnut Street while firefighters worked on the roof.
Our partners at the Paper of Montgomery County report bricks from the top of the building fell on to the sidewalk.
