INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Mayor Ballard announced City of Indianapolis offices are closed Wednesday due to the expected snowstorm.

Ballard announced Tuesday that all non-essential personnel should not report to work.

Additionally, the City of Westfield, Greenwood, Speedway, Richmond, Lawrence, and Beech Grove has closed their offices for Wednesday due to the expected snow. Beech Grove trash pickup may not be picked up until Thursday, depending on snow conditions.

Johnson, Henry and Wayne counties will also close their offices.

If you use the Indy Express Bus that connects Indianapolis with Carmel and Fishers, that will not be in operation Wednesday due to the storm.

Remember, you can always check the latest list of closings on the WISHTV.com homepage.

Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a Blizzard Warning for a large part of the state.
