140 soldiers with the Indiana National Guard are now home. They got in late Wednesday night. Family and friends cheered and hugged their loved ones who had been serving in Iraq for the last nine months.

This is the second group of soldiers to return this week. On Monday night nearly 300 soldiers returned.

One mother, who was waiting for her daughter to come home, said her excitement was indescribable.

"I'm so excited. She's been gone for a year, I'm just glad they all left together, they all came back together, just healthy and home," said one soldier's mother.

Another soldier said he's glad to be home, but he doesn't want anyone to forget about the people who are still overseas.

"We all did a good job over there. All I can say is keep supporting them and they'll be home soon," said Sergeant 1st Class Bryon Moore.

The Indiana National Guard says nearly 3,000 soldiers are scheduled to come home over the next three weeks. Another 75 soldiers will arrive later Thursday morning.
