JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - The race for the White House swings through Indiana again this
week. Both vice presidential candidates will come to the Hoosier
state.
Wednesday, Sarah Palin will stop in Jeffersonville. It's her
third appearance in the state this month and her first in southern
Indiana.
Palin has been stumping through many battleground states
recently. Tuesday in Pennsylvania she told a crowd of supporters
John McCain is not like his rival.
"As for John McCain you can be certain that wherever he goes,
whoever is listening he is the same man and that's because John is
his own man and he doesn't run with the Washington herd," said
Palin.
Tickets are still available for the Alaska governor's visit
to Jeffersonville. You can print tickets
online or
pick them up at ticket distribution centers.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.
24-Hour News 8 will have live coverage of her visit beginning at 5
p.m.
Democratic challenger Joe Biden will also make a campaign
stop in the the Evansville area Saturday to talk about the
economy. This is Biden's second trip to the Hoosier state.
Tuesday, during a campaign stop in Melbourne, Florida, Biden
said John McCain is trying unsuccessfully to distance himself from
President Bush.
"Look folks, I know Halloween is coming this Friday, but John
McCain dresses the agent of change, that costume does not fit,"
said Biden.
No other details about Biden's trip to Indiana have been
released yet.
