INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Marion County Assessor Greg Bowes will run for prosecutor next year and he will challenge the Democratic leadership in the process.
Bowes came to the WISH-TV newsroom to explain his plan to pass up the slating convention next year and the potential endorsement from party leaders that is handed out there.

“I think we’ve seen seven years of failed leadership in the prosecutor's office. I think I have the leadership skiils to make our community safer,” said Bowes.
Terry Curry and David Orentlicher are Democrats who are seeking the nomination for prosecutor along with Bowes.
