John McGoff to challenge Burton again

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - John McGoff made his challenge to GOP Congressman Dan Burton official Thursday morning.

The Republican filed the paperwork to get on the May primary ballot.

McGoff lost to Burton in a close race two years ago.

Now he is one of four Burton challengers in the 5th District GOP primary.

“I'm asking voters 3 questions: Are you happy with what you've got? Who is the most qualified? And who had the courage to take on Dan Burton? If you take a look at the qualifications and did a blind ballot test I think I'd win every time,” said McGoff.

McGoff is a doctor and an officer in the Air National Guard.
