Pence keeps several agency leaders

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Gov.-elect Mike Pence announced Friday that he would be retaining the heads of IDEM, the BMV, the Hoosier Lottery and other state agencies.

Thomas Easterly will remain as commissioner of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. He has served in the post since 2005.

Scott Waddell will continue as commissioner of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. He has served as commissioner since 2010.

Karl Browning will remain as executive director of the Hoosier Lottery. He has held that post since 2011.

In the state Finance Authority, Kendra York will remain as public finance director. She has served as director since 2011.

In the War Memorials Commission, Brig. Gen. J. Stewart Goodwin (retired) will continue as executive director. The commission operates more than 24 acres of property in downtown Indianapolis, including museums and monuments honoring Hoosier veterans.
