INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indiana's candidates for Senate and governor are continuing their sprint to Election Day.

Democratic Senate candidate Joe Donnelly plans to spend Friday crossing northern Indiana before heading down to Lafayette. Republican Richard Mourdock is starting his day in Noblesville and working south from there.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence is starting his day in Lafayette then working his way north to Valparaiso. Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Gregg and running mate Vi Simpson plan to spend the day crossing southern Indiana.

The battle for Indiana's open Senate seat has been neck-and-neck since the May primary. The governor's race, while likely to go to Pence, has begun tightening somewhat.
