INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is among those who were quick to respond to Thursday's Supreme Court ruling on health care . Zoeller joined with several other states in the challenge to the president's plan.

He said he's disappointed in the ruling but has no regrets.

"The role of the attorney general is part of the process of checks and balances," said Zoeller. "I think the states do need to challenge the federal government when they could have gone outside of their boundaries. This is a healthy part of the process."

Zoeller says he didn't spend any money outside his normal budget in the legal battle against the Affordable Health Care Act.
