INDIANA STATEHOUSE (WISH) - Two key elements of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels’ education reform package are now headed back to his desk after final votes in the Indiana House of Representitives.

A bill to expand charter schools in the state won approval, 61-37, and a bill to create the largest school voucher system in the county passed 55-43.

Both bills are now headed to the governor’s desk for his signature. 24-Hour News 8 political reporter Jim Shella will have more details at 5 p.m. and on OnPolitix.com as they unfold.
