INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indianapolis homeowner was given 24 hours to clean the dead animals, feces and trash out of her home or else face fines and possible arrest.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police and the Marion County Health Department issued the clean up order after finding several animals, including a roaming goat, living in deplorable conditions in the home in the 10000 block of E. 25th Street.
According to a police report, an officer found dead chickens and another bird inside of the home. Health Department officials also found chickens living in cages covered in soiled bedding.
