Wrecking truck strikes a pedestrian

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) - A person was transported to the hospital in critical condition after a wrecker truck crashed into him while the victim was walking on a street.

Lawrence Police told us the victim was walking down the 9000 block of Pendleton Pike east of Post road when he was struck by a local towing company's wrecking truck.

The driver stayed on scene and the victim was transported to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
