INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Tickets to see King Tut are now on sale.
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is hosting the "
King
Tut and the Golden Pharaohs" exhibit beginning June 27, running
through October. Timed and dated tickets are available now online
and at their ticket office.
Monday, a class of 2nd graders from Lowell Elementary
received free tickets.
"Of course to have school kids here today was absolutely
great and we're so thankful to Lilly Endowment to helping support
all of the school kids from the state of Indiana that would like to
come and see the exhibit can do so for free," said President Jeff
Patchen of The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
A grant of $2 million from the Lilly Endowment will give
tickets to students and teachers on a first come first serve
basis.
WISH-TV anchor Debby Knox and Forecast 8's Steve Bray followed folks from the museum to Egypt recently and will be sharing stories and a documentary on the adventure in the weeks ahead.
Police are investigating after an overnight shooting left one person dead.
