INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Gold medal winner Bridget Sloan arrived at the Indianapolis International Airport late Tuesday fresh from the World Gymnastics Competition in London, where she won the women's all-around title.

She was greeted by friends and fans decked out in red and waving flags.

Sloan is a 17-year-old junior from Tri-West Hendricks High School. She plans on getting back to school sometime Wednesday and working with her physical therapist.

She said she's looking forward to some time off and then she'll get back in the gym.

"You know, I don't really have any more meets for this year, I'm done this year. Meets start up next year, we're just going to get back in the gym and try and make my routines a little bit better," said Sloan.

Sloan's Olympic teammate Samantha Peszek was also at the airport to celebrate the homecoming.
