INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Colts enjoyed their typical day off Tuesday before they begin preparing for Cincinnati. But instead of spending the day on the couch, Sportslocker analysts Bob Sanders and Dallas Clark were busy giving back to the community.
Second grader Jaedon Ball was the coolest kid in school Tuesday. Not only did he arrive in a limo, he was escorted by Colts star Bob Sanders.
"It was kinda cool, interesting," said Jaedon.
Jaedon got to introduce his special guest to the entire school and then Sanders talked to the kids about staying active. It's all part of the NFL's Play 60.
"Just stay active, stay healthy and stay fit. It's a new generation coming up we want these kids to be the most fit generation," said Sanders.
While Sanders spent the morning encouraging kids to stay fit, Dallas Clark was at an Indianapolis elementary school making sure they had plenty of hats and shoes to stay warm this winter.
"It's great to see these kids, they are excited. especially with the weather the way it is, I know they are excited to get some nice new shoes," said Clark.
Colts wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez also helped out.
"I like to be involved with kids because the world can be tough on them and they don't even realize it. And the little things can make the big difference," said Gonzalez.
Clark and Gonzalez were participating in the fourth annual Cold Feet, Warm Shoes and Hats Event. More than 450 kids at James Lowell Elementary School received the shoes, hats, and shirts for the holiday season.
