INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning's Annual PeyBack Classic opened Lucas Oil Stadium last fall, and his 10th classic this August will be bigger and better.

Manning made the announcement Tuesday while meeting with players and coaches. The new IHSAA season kicks off Friday, August 21 at Lucas Oil with a triple-header.

Tech and Arlington at 3:30pm, the first IPS schools to play in the stadium. Then, on WISH-TV's sister station MyINDY-TV, its Greenwood and Columbus East at 6 p.m., followed by Mooresville and Lebanon at 8:30 p.m.

Peyton said its all for the communities involved.

"PeyBack Classic was just a way to give these players ands coaches lasting memories. I had a chance to play in the Louisiana Superdome three times when I was in high school, and it's still a special memory for me. My buddies still talk about being 3-0 in the dome, and through my high school years, it's just a pride thing and a chance to play in that dome is like your chance to be a pro for a day," said Manning.

"I'm really excited, this means a lot. I've always wanted to play there, I've been to a couple of games there this past season, the stadium's awesome, so it'll be real exciting," said Andrew Gibson a senior at Mooresville.

Russtin Trotter a senior at Tech said, "It's still amazing. I've been to Lucas Oil, but never played on it."

Manning said he's happy more than 20 schools have been able to take part in the classic over the years.
