Luck impressive at Pro Day

PALO ALTO, Cal. (WISH) - Impressive. Andrew Luck faced chilly, breezy conditions, 150 media members looking on and every NFL team to get through his pro day without a hitch.

Luck tossed a scripted 50 passes of every length, from in and out of the pocket, and as a casual observer, he was as good as he looks on television.

He looked relaxed and confident, but told me he had to fight through some butterflies before settling in.

What struck me the most? He threw all of his passes into the wind by his own choosing, telling me he will face all kinds if weather, and this was the best way to prepare for that.

Colts quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen said it told a lot about him.

He said he wished more college players were like Luck and Robert Griffin the 3rd both on and off the field, great athletes from great families.

Mission accomplished for Luck and the Colts, now it's time to put it together on draft night next month.
