Helio takes home over $3M in 500 win

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Monday's Indy 500 Victory Banquet was payday for the 33 drivers. It was a record-breaking night for three-time winner Helio Castroneves.
Castroneves' $3.48 million purse broke the former record of
$2.99 million that went to Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon's last
year. The total purse of $14.3 million was just short of the record
of $14.4 million last year.
And, once again, Helio got emotional when thanking his
family.
"And Dad, you're my best friend, you're my hero. When I saw
you guys at trial defending me, that was the hardest time. But
we're here today as a family, thank you," said Castroneves.
