Costs for Pole, Bump days at IMS

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) - With Pole Day Saturday and Bump Day Sunday, it will be a busy weekend at IMS.

This weekend is also an opportunity for folks to spend a lot of money.

Some expenses are unavoidable; others are flexible.

Tickets:

Tickets each day are $15 per person; admission is free for children 12 and under.

A separate ticket is required for entry each day.

Parking:

Infield parking is available on a first come, first served basis in Turn 3 and the North 40 outside of the track (located off 30th Street). These locations are free, but a limited number of spaces are available.

Once these are full, fans can park in Lot 2, located across Georgetown for $5 per day.

Souvenirs:

IMS T-shirts cost $25-30 for an adult and $18 for kids.

IMS souvenir hats cost $18-30.

The IMS gift shops offers other souvenirs, like diecast cars, programs and pencils.

Outside vendors have not set up yet.

Food:

Fans are allowed to bring in coolers with food and drinks.

Coolers must be no larger than 14 inches by 14 inches.

Glass bottles/containers are not allowed.

The track also offers a range of food, like burgers, hot dogs and corn dogs. A chicken finger basket, for example, costs around $7; soda costs $3-4.
