SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) - Work at the I-74 and I-465 interchange could cause back-ups and confusion for fans heading to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend.
Of major concern is the interchange at I-74 at Crawfordsville Road.
Because of ongoing construction there, drivers need to use either 10th Street to the south or 38th Street to the north to get to the track.
INDOT says signs are posted to direct drivers.
Click here for more information on getting to the track.
Click here for a map of parking around the track.
Infield parking is available on a first come, first served basis. It’s free, but space is limited.
Lot 2 is another option. This is just outside the track, across Georgetown Road. The cost is $5 per day.
