INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Butler will play two of the Atlantic 10's NCAA tournament teams -- Xavier and St. Louis -- twice each in its
first season of A-10 play.
League officials announced the opponents on the conference web site. They have not announced dates for the games.
The Bulldogs will host Charlotte, Duquesne, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, St. Louis, Temple and Xavier. They will visit Dayton, Fordham, George Washington, La Salle, Massachusetts, St. Joseph's, St. Louis and Virginia Commonwealth.
Butler also will play an early-season nonconference game at Xavier in November.
The conference schedule has been in flux since Butler announced last week it would jump to the A-10 immediately instead of following the original plan of moving in 2013-14, which the school announced May 2.
