INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Tamika Catchings is staying with the Indiana Fever.

The reigning WNBA MVP signed a free agent contract in a deal announced Wednesday. Terms were not disclosed.

She has played 10 seasons in the league, all with the Fever. After missing her first season due to injury, she was named the league's Rookie of the Year in 2002 and has established virtually every season and career record in Fever history. She has been among top-five finishers in MVP balloting nine times, is a four-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year and a seven-time All-Star.

The 32-year-old Catchings averaged 15.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game last season and led Indiana to the Eastern Conference Finals.
