1st postseason UIndy win in 37 years

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - 18th ranked UIndy picked up their first postseason victory in Division II history with a 31-17 win over an eight-ranked Midwestern State.

Matt Ripp ran for 143 yards and two touchdowns as the Greyhounds pulled away in the fourth quarter.

It’s been 37 years since UIndy last played in the postseason when it played in the NCAA Division III tournament.  They now advance to play the top team in Division II Colorado State-Pueblo in the second round next week.
