MILWAUKEE (AP) - Gordon Hayward scored 25 points to lead Butler to its 10th win in a row, a 73-66 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Sunday.
Ronald Nored and Shelvin Mack added 13 points apiece for the Bulldogs (18-4, 11-0), who are aiming for their fourth consecutive Horizon League championship.
Anthony Hill scored a career-high 21 points for Wisconsin-Milwaukee (13-10, 5-6).
Willie Veasley’s basket ended an 8-0 Butler run, putting the Bulldogs up 58-55 midway through the second half. The Panthers came within 65-64 on a 3-pointer by James Eayrs, but Butler pulled away at the end.
Hill scored 12 points in the first half as the Panthers led 35-34 at the break.
