INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Butler Bulldog's Rotnei Clarke was named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, the university announced Monday.
According to the Butler University website , Clarke is the first Butler player to earn the honor since their move to the Atlantic 10.
Clarke helped the Bulldogs reach the championship game of the Maui Invitational last week. Clarke, a 6-foot senior, helped secure a win over Marquette with his dramatic buzzer three-point shot.
The Bulldogs fell to the Fighting Illini after an exciting run in Hawaii.
Rotnei Clarke and the Bulldogs will take on Hanover at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Tuesday.
