BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Indiana needs to win out to become bowl eligible.
The Hoosiers (4-6, 2-4 Big Ten) wasted a chance to take control of the Big Ten Leaders division with a 62-14 home loss to Wisconsin last Saturday. Now, they travel to Penn State and must win to have a shot at postseason play.
Last season, a bowl game wasn't even a thought. Now that Hoosiers have had some success with two Big Ten wins this season a year after losing every conference game, coach Kevin Wilson says it is important for the program to continue to take positive steps.
Penn State blew a 14-point lead in a 32-23 loss at Nebraska last week.
